okay. okay i wasn't going to do this but this is my kpop rant: some people are fucking crazy because they've forgotten that at some level it isn't about the members, the group, the idols. really, it isn't actually about them at all. it's about how we feel, and if idols make us happy watching them dance and sing, we support them because we want to see more of their dancing and singing and homoerotic unresolved sexual tension, you know? so i love suju because everytime i watch bonomana my toes curl and watching sorry, sorry leaves me biting my lip whereas i laugh along to no other, super girl, and my heart breaks at marry u, and norago. and so on. i love super junior because ehb made me cry, laugh, and fall in love and feel warm when i was a bit lonely back in the day, look at what they'd been through and remember that i was going to be okay. look at how donghae got so fit and started going to the gym religiously, realizing i could do thattoo without starving myself.

supporting an idol is not about letting that ruin your life. because that defeats the fucking point. i'm so sick of hearing about twelve year olds and twenty year olds talking about love and boyfriends they have or don't have anymore or won't have because these are boys they will never meet, never fall in love with, never know. but that's okay, if they shine light into the dark corners of your life. if they make you more miserable...you've missed the boat. you've gotten on the stream of cray cray that ends in you stalking the shit out of your idols, making them miserable, and you realizing that they're human, not perfect, and going nuts.

everylasting friend means so fucking much to me because unlike other fanclub names, i feel like i'm really going to grow with suju. i'm going to take their hands and spread the pearl sapphire blue of happiness and beauty and sexy hip thrusts all over the world together with leeteuk who works too hard and is overly melodramatic but fuck, is probably one of the most amazing people out there, with heechul who just doesn't give a fuck but really probably does and might revolutionize the way people treat their idols one day, with hankyung who stood up for himself, who worked hard against all odds and made it, became china's darling, with yesung who never got camera time but grew into his voice and himself and is finally getting noticed, with kangin who fucked up and learned and grew and took responsibility, with shindong who was brave enough to fall in love, with sungmin who was brave enough to say fuck the fans, i don't just want to be cute!sungmin, i want something more, eunhyuk who always knows how to keep working at something, eve if he's at the top of his game, donghae who faced adversity and kept going, siwon who believes in something and will keep fucking believing, will keep singing and believing forever, with ryeowook who manages to captivate with a smile even if he's one of the most overlooked members, kibum who stays close to his brothers personally, even if he can't professionally, and kyuhyun who spat death in the eye and came back to us, came back to sing and live. and henry who traveled into the heart of nowhere but never gave up his violin, zhou mi who is fierce and beautiful and works at it even when he's got so few activities and schedules, only to show up, flawless on stage.

i fucking love super junior. they are a bunch of real boys who are human and stupid and gorgeous and fabulous. and when i have a bad day, miracle will pep it all up. and that's all that really matters.
